And there is a hand, my trusty friend,
And give us a hand of yours,
And we will take a goodwill draught (of ale)
For old long ago!
And surely you will pay for your pint,
And surely I will pay for mine!
And we will take a cup of kindness yet
For old long ago!

You know the scenario. Cluttered jewelry boxes brimming with jewelry that you never wear. Yet every time spring cleaning rolls around, your sentimental itch flares up and your jewelry obtains another coat of dust. Now you can be eco-fierce by polishing off your high school ring, your grade school charm bracelet, and that necklace from your high school boyfriend and sending them packing to Jen Boaz.

Recycle old jewelry into a one-of-a-kind piece that is close to your heart. All you have to do is gather your charms, enclose instructions, signify gold or silver chain (both 25 inches, 14k gold and sterling silver), and snail mail them Jen Boaz Jewerly.

Sound-off: C Baby vs. H Stix

In one corner we have The Real Chow Baby , Atlanta's veteran create-your-own-stir-fry restaurant with roots on Howell Mill and a second home at the Cobb Galleria. Rookie Hot Stix Stir-Fry Kitchen hailing from the Lindbergh City Center in Buckhead rounds out the battle in the opposing corner. When it comes to the all-you-can-eat-create-your-own-stir-fry concept, we all win. But for kicks, lets put them head to head to see who chalks up the KO.

C Baby Stats

Price: Lunch - $7.99, Dinner - $11.99

# of Ingredients to choose from: 70+

Appetizer choices: Chicken Potstickers, Thai Chicken Quesadilla, Spicy Shrimp Quesadilla, Vegetable Egg Rolls, Chicken Pesto Quesadilla

Catering?: Yes

Wait?: Short/Medium

How it works: Server brings you two bowls, one for your meat and one for everything else. Choose your rice or your noodle (or both), then assume the exec chef role by whipping up the creation of your choice with a variety of fruits, veggies, meats, and sauces. Write your name on the wooden stick and drop it off to your sous chefs for execution. Server brings your cooked creation to you.
My 2 cents: When I discovered The Real Chow Baby, I thought I had found the holy grail of restaurant concepts. I've only been during lunch, so the idea of eating-til-you-pop for 8 bones was sold on me. I can't speak for dinner but lunch can be a bit crowded. For faster lines at the stir-fry buffet, hit up C Baby just before or after the rush. The sauces are divine and the ingredients are very fresh.

Price: Lunch - $7.99, Dinner - $12.99

# of Ingredients to choose from: 61

Appetizer choices: Wok Seared Edamame, Chicken Pot Stickers, Crab & Cheese Rangoons, Calamari, Hot Shrimp, Tuna Tartar

Catering?: Yes

Wait?: None/Short

My 2 cents: I was apprehensive at first. How could anything compare to my C baby? The concept and make-your-own set-up are virtually identical. Ambiance is neck and neck. There aren't as many ingredient options, but all in all its a great spot and much closer to my apt!

So who gets the win? I'll let you be the judge.

I flip, I flop

Ace from MTV The Real World's new labor of love Flip Flops is all the buzz in the Midtown bar scene these days. I decided I had to check it for myself...

Flips
  1. I can drink Red Stripe or a frozen daiquiri in the middle of winter and feel pretty great about it.
  2. Acoustic act and a DJ upstairs. To accommodate my tunage mood.
  3. I feel like I'm back in Key West circa college spring break senior year.
  4. Beach bum theme works because nothing too similar existed prior to FF's opening it's doors.
  5. Friendly bar staff
  6. Diverse crowd
Flops
  1. Real World groupies. Lots of them.
  2. Old Southern two story house converted into a popular bar. Hello crowded.
  3. Two bathroom stalls in the Ladies room. Not to mention the plumbing issue which had us wading through a swamp to get to a stall.
  4. Even if I wanted to enjoy a frozen daiquiri and feel pretty great about it, it probably wouldn't happen unless I elbowed my way through the birth canal in front of the bar. Hello crowded.
  5. I feel like I'm back in Key West circa college spring break senior year.
Will I go back? Probably. Especially during the summer when the outdoor area can get more use.
