Its time to clink your Cerveza, Tequila, Rita or Horchata glasses in celebration of Mexican heritage and join in on some of the festivities happening around the city. The 2nd annual ViHi Cinco de Mayo Celebration & Block Party will feature authentic food, a beer and margarita bar, live music, a smash the pinata contest and a hot pepper eating contest. Restaurant sponsors include Pozole and Limerick Junction. $5 cover, gates open at 5 PM, live music starts at 6 PM.
If your not in the mood to bump sombreros with a large crowd then try Bone Garden Cantina, Pancho's, Holy Taco, or El Azteca. Ole!
