We've all done it. Guilty-as-charged. The social scene set-up. The personality pairings. Weighing in on the ever so faithful dating dilemmas. Lending an ear to the painfully awkward stories. What is this horrible crime I speak of? You guessed it - assuming the role of the Match Maker.
Hear me out on this one. When I think about having my match making hat on, I have a specific scenario in mind, moreover a specific friend in mind. Petite, cute, slender but curvy figure with a flaring hint of Creole style, versed in the ways of the SEC and all the traditions that ensue, and a wild streak that is bound to keep you on your toes. Genuinely attractive, moreover, rather foxy. Did I mention that cooking is one of her favorite hobbies?

Now I am no Carrie Bradshaw, but I do serve as her unbridled guy perspective. I can't help but wonder, how does this young lady consistently lets the wrong guys bog her down? I am not out to hurt her feelings but I have an obligation to the truth, which I think/hope she appreciates. She wants to know what it means when a guy doesn't take her to dinner but txts at 1 AM on a Friday night, and I translate the male melodrama into guy terms (that's an easy one). But you get the idea right?
My quest doesn't end here. This young lady is at a crossroads and I am here to help. This olive-skinned beauty doesn't need help with getting attention from guys. She doesn't require a "how-to" manual. She is the complete package. Let's put it this way fellas, she is the grocer and we are the market. She sometimes keeps things stocked past the expiration date, if you catch my drift. So being the mischievous and over-zealous Match Maker that I am, I made a bet with her. If she let me post this then she would have to agree to follow through on a date.
