This Thursday, October 29 from 7-8 PM at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, six Atlanta chefs will put their carving skills to the test for the Great Chefs of Atlanta Pumpkin Carving Contest. The contest takes place during ABG's Fest-of-Ale and will allot the chefs 25 minutes to beautify a giant pumpkin. Following the competition, the pumpkins will get auctioned off, benefiting the garden.
The chef's participating in the challenge are:
- Kevin Gillespie, Woodfire Grill
- Joey Bridgers, Babette's Cafe
- Victor Dagatan, The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead
- Andrew Miller, Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Atlanta
- Alison Lueker, Sun in my Belly
- Gregory Paine, Avante Catering
Tickets to Fest-of-Ale are $15 and include access to ABG's exhibits.
