Nothing warms me up better than a piping hot curry plate from a local Indian restaurant. Even 4 1/2 years in Indiana (yes, I think Indiana is freeezing during this time of year, and yes that should be a clear indication of how intolerant I am to cold weather) couldn't help my body adjust to blustery fall and winter days.
To avoid elongated spells of hibernation, I seek refuge in local restos and coffee shops offering the perfect medicine to my body's natural rejection to all things chilly. Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Tomato Bisque Soup, and... some Naan and Curry please. That is why I love Atlanta Magazine's Spice Routes article. AM sifted through over 40 Atlanta-area Indian restaurants and serves up a whittled down list of 16 gems, each representing the different corners of India. One of several of my favorite ways to stay warm.
