Turn up the heat this Saturday from 4-11 PM in the El Taco parking lot for the 1st annual Virginia-Highland Chili Pepper Festival. El Taco, DBA BBQ, and Mali Thai & Sushi Bar will all serve up some spicy dishes with 16 oz beers available for purchase to quell the heat.
The celebration continues with all things caliente: energy-packed live music, specialty cocktails from each resto and of course, a chili pepper eating contest. Purchase $5 tickets in advance (by Friday), tickets $10 after Friday.
