Captain Carey Carter and First Mate Tracy Galasso of the Atlanta chapter of Meet Week are calling out to carnivorous Atlantans for a 7-day tour of meat establishments starting on January 31st at one of my favorite BBQ joints, Daddy D'z.
The idea is to pay homage to the cue' meat that we know and love here in the South by embarking on a meat marathon, a tip o' the hat to the smokin' joints that serve up savory plates, and even a ranking o' the various meat categories such as best BBQ sauce, best sides, best service etc (for those who attend at least 4 nights on the meat crawl).
Meat Week is real, and it hits the dirty in a few short days.
