Waffles and Ice Cream! is every Sunday this summer from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Bakeshop (404-892-9322). Every Sunday will feature housemade waffles with specialty toppings (hot fudge, butterscotch sauce, jumbleberry sauce and caramel rum raisin sauce) and a scoop of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, coffee, pistachio, strawberry and raspberry sorbet) all for $5.
Every waffle night will feature two new sundaes for $7.00 (Pistachio Truffle Sundae with housemade hot fudge, pistachio ice cream, pistachio praline, freshly whipped cream and pistachio truffle cake anyone?) and popsicles from Atlanta's own King of Pops (all natural, hand-crafted popsicles in flavors such as "Chocolate Sea Salt", "Lemon Basil", "Pineapple Habanero", and "Grapefruit With a Blackberry Tip"). There are so many things right about this concept. Good thinking BS.
