HGTV’s selection of Serenbe as the location for the HGTV Green Home further establishes the community as a national leader for sustainability. Guests are invited to tour the home, and stay for a day of shopping, dining at any of the three restaurants in the community (The Hil, The Farmhouse and the Blue Eyed Daisy are all leaders in the farm-to-table movement), apprenticing on the organic farms or simply spending time in nature on the miles of trails.
If you haven't heard of Serenbe or yet been, I suggest you add this to your summer to-do list. Serenbe is a 1,000 acre community located under 30 minutes from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. It is a national model for the future of balanced development in the U.S.— focusing on land preservation, agriculture, energy efficiency, green building, walkability, high density building, arts and culture, and community living for multiple generations.
